Morning Covenant Prayer
Proverbs 14:8 The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception.
Proverbs 14:15 A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps.
Father,
From the beginning, the enemy revealed his nature: his silver tongue promised Eve benefits and knowledge. He convinced Eve that Your Word would not come to pass, and the benefits to her of believing his deceptions rather than Your warnings would be great.
Adam was silent as his wife acted foolishly, and he watched Eve act on the enemy’s alluring temptations instead of warning her to heed God’s warning. Then, he joined his wife in rebellion against You, choosing to align with her over You.
Please grant to_____ wisdom and discernment. Cause them to no longer believe and act on the lies of the enemy or the lusts of the flesh, but rather to give thought to their ways and put their hope and trust in You.
Bring those into their lives to speak truth to them and open their hearts to receive and act on Your Word.
In the powerful and precious name of Jesus,
Amen
Noon Covenant Prayer
Psalm 50:23 He who sacrifices thank offerings honors Me, and he prepares the way that I may show him the salvation of God.
Father,
Forgive us and _____ when our hearts have not been thankful for all Your blessings, and we have seen our glass as half empty rather than half full. Forgive us for gazing at our heartaches rather than You, Jesus.
The truth is that You have blessed us beyond measure. Yet, Your Word says to us that to the one who, in a time of hardship, still SACRIFICES thank offerings honors You and prepares the way for You to show that person Your salvation.
Cause our souls and spirits and those of these we lift to You to give thanks even in the hard situations of life. Make us aware of how You make a way in the desert and provide streams of living water.
In the Name of Jesus, Living Water, who provides streams in the desert,
Amen
Evening Covenant Prayer
Jeremiah 10:23-24
I know, O Lord, that a man’s life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps. Correct me, Lord, but only with justice—not in Your anger, lest You reduce me to nothing.
Lord,
You are the Potter, and we are but clay. There is NO “pot” that is beyond Your ability to remake.
Correct _______with justice, not in anger. Fashion within these new hearts, sound, clear, and discerning minds, and spirits that fear You.
Oh, fashion these lives and souls to now and forever glorify Your Name.
Thank You that You have a good plan and that plan will prevail.
In the Name of Jesus, the Lord of all,
Amen
