Covenant Prayers to pray this week…and you can invite others to pray with you!! Come boldly to God’s throne praying His Word.
Morning Covenant Prayer
Psalm 3:8
From the Lord comes deliverance. May Your blessings be on Your people.
Father God,
Deliverance!! Such a beautiful word full of hope and comfort!
Jesus, You said, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand." You tell us in Isaiah 43:13 that no one can deliver out of Your hand.
You are victorious, all-powerful, wise, trustworthy, faithful, mighty, all-knowing, and good in all that You do!
In Your mercy, come and deliver______________ from evil. Lead each away from temptation. Guard their hearts. Restore their parched souls. We plead Your blood, Jesus, over them. Come Holy Spirit into each of these lives in a mighty way.
In the Name of Jesus, our Deliverer,
Amen
Noon Covenant Prayer
Proverbs 16:6
Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the Lord a man avoids evil.
Lord,
To have fear of You is one of the greatest treasures of life. We think of how Saul encountered You as a blinding light on the road to Damascus.
In Your mercy and grace, we plead that You would restore the souls of _______ so that each would now and always have fear of You. Pour Your wisdom into each one. Grant each a spirit of repentance to grieve their rebellious ways and how they have conformed to the thinking of the world.
Empower each to walk in the ways of love, forgiveness, truthfulness, and faithfulness. Cause these to cling to You and to flee from all evil. Great are You, Lord. Those that tremble at Your Word are those You esteem. (Isaiah 66:2)
Oh, forgiveness us and these when we have taken Your Word as a suggestion. Come Holy Spirit. Grant fear of You in ever-increasing measure. You are holy. Make us holy.
In the Name of the Lord Jesus, Maker of heaven and earth,
Amen
Evening Covenant Prayer
Isaiah 6:9b
If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.
Lord,
Please forgive us and _____ when we have taken casually, ignored, or rebelled against You or Your Word.
Faith is a gift, but it is a gift that must be nurtured. In Your mercy, please grant to each of these faith and give to each the desire to stand firm in that faith nurturing it every day.
Remove the lusts of the flesh and replace them with godly desires. Give to each godly friends, accountability and prayer partners.
Rescue each one so that You receive glory from these souls created in Your image and for Your glory. Thank You for burdening our hearts to pray for them.
In the Name of Jesus, our Rock, our firm foundation,
Amen
